A program built for the job, when nothing on the shelf fits it.

Some work is particular to one business: the way a board is inspected, the way a part number is made up. We write the Windows program for it, fast enough to use all day and plain enough to learn in an afternoon.

For the production floor

A circuit board viewer for electronics manufacturing. It opens the design files, draws both sides of the board, and lets an operator find a part, mark a fault and see the bill of materials beside it.

  • Thousands of parts drawn smoothly, zoomed and turned without waiting.
  • Imports the formats the design offices send, as they send them.
  • Runs on each bench from local files and keeps itself up to date.

A drawing of the kind of screen we build. The board is invented.

For the office behind it

Item and part-number generators

For a valve or a length of pipe, the part number is the specification. A generator builds the number and the description from the choices made, the same way every time, and creates the item in the ERP system.

Commission and profit calculations

Sums that are too particular for a standard report: who is paid what on which order, worked out from the documents and shown line by line so it can be checked.
